Raleigh Moravian Women's Ministry
Women’s Ministry sponsors events that encourage fellowship, spiritual growth, mission education, outreach, and service among the women of our congregation.
Through gifts of our time and money, we support a variety of outreach and mission projects including: Engineers and Doctors without Borders, NC Food Bank, RMC Preschool, and Laurel Ridge summer camp.
Annual Events: We organize a Moravian Candle Tea for the first Saturday in December each year. Members of the community are invited to enjoy sugar cake and coffee, Christmas music provided by high school choruses, and demonstrations of traditional Moravian crafts. We also have handmade craft items for sale. We sell Moravian chicken pies in the spring and sugar cakes in the fall.
