Christian education: Special programs
		Throughout the year, Raleigh Moravian Church and the Laurel Ridge Moravian Camp and Conference Center sponsor events that are both educational and fun for all ages.

Programs at Raleigh Moravian

Vacation Bible School

VBS is held in the summer and is for three-year-olds through fifth graders. We'll have stories, games, music and crafts - all based on a Biblical theme.

Fellowship dinner

The first Wednesday of each month during the school year is a time of fellowship, learning and good eating! Dinner is served at 6:30 followed by various programs. Reservations are required for dinner. Call the church office, 787-4034, or email our church secretary, Pat Hendley.

Lenten series

Raleigh Moravian celebrates Holy Communion on Ash Wednesday and the first Sunday of Lent. Members of other Christian denominations are welcome to partake at the Lord's Table during these services. Lent is a time of reflection and renewal. Raleigh Moravian offers classes or programs during this season to encourage members to make time for spiritual devotions.

Programs at Laurel Ridge Moravian Camp and Conference Center

Raleigh Moravian has been blessed with the use of the beautiful Laurel Ridge mountain facility of the Moravian Church. During the summer approximately 20 children and youth participate in the camp programs planned and staffed by Moravians throughout the Southern Province. Our small Bible study groups, the youth group, and the Women's Ministry use the camp for retreats during the fall, winter and spring. The Congregational Retreat is held each year in August.
